The first GolinHarris office was founded in 1956 in Chicago by Al Golin. The Hong Kong office was founded in 1993 by Anne Forrest as Forrest International and became Golin/Harris in 2003. Core practice areas include corporate reputation management, investor relations, financial communications, internal communications, issues and crisis management, public affairs, and strategic marketing communications. The agency has been recognized by numerous local and international industry awards by PR Week, The Holmes Report, and the International Association of Business Communicators.
In 2006/2007, GolinHarris was named Agency of the Year in three different industry awards categories. Among the recent honours/awards received by the Hong Kong office include serving as communications advisor for the Hong Kong SAR Chief Executive election campaigns, and SABRE and IABC awards for advertising, marketing communications, and creative design.
