Copyright Legislation Changes
The Intellectual Property Department of the Government of the Hong Kong SAR is proposing to change the legislation on copyright. The document below is the cPRf 's response to a letter from Mr. Jeffrey Chan of the Commerce and Industry Branch of the Commerce, Industry and Technology Bureau, inviting the Council to formally submit its views on this matter. cPRf wishes to thank the government for the opportunity to submit its feedback.
RESPONSE ON IMPENDING COPYRIGHT LEGISLATION
As part of our industry role, the cPRf has also developed a GUIDE FOR MEMBERS which outlines the current copyright situation in Hong Kong and the licensing options available to members from the Hong Kong Copyright Licensing Association (HKCLA).
If you have any comments on the proposed legislation, the guide or the cPRf's viewpoint, please email your comments to information@cprfhk.org or call 2203 4302, and we will respond to you as soon as possible. |
